Houston police received a call about a shooting at 2:34 a.m. local time, Chief Troy Finner said. Officers found a dead man at a private party at 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston.

- A 23-year-old male and 24-year-old woman were both hurt in the incident and took themselves to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, said homicide Sgt. Michael Arrington.
