The children are heartbroken to say that their mother passed away quietly in sleep at home in Los Angeles at 1:30 am on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, just 5 days before her 97th birthday, according to a statement from her family sent to the e-news media sources.
Angela gained notoriety throughout her career in television films and on Broadway, winning five Tony Awards and six Golden Globes. At age 18, Queen Elizabeth even choreographed a dance for her.
She began her acting career with 1994’s Gaslight, which helped her earn an Oscar nomination. She continued playing Jessica Fletcher in the murder for the next ten years.
