Jazz Saxophonist Pharoah Sanders Death Updates!
According to CNN, jazz saxophonist Pharoah Sanders died at 81, according to a statement from his representative and a record label.
Luaka Bop wrote on Twitter, “We are heartbroken to tell you that Pharoah Sanders has died peacefully this morning in Los Angeles, surrounded by friends who loved him. May he rest in peace; he was and will always be the most beautiful person.
- Anna Sala, Sanders’s representative, confirmed that the musician had died. Sanders’s was “a huge loss for the music world.”
- Sala said, “His work has influenced many artists over the y “ars.”
- Sander” has many sites that say he “has released more than 30 albums since 1965.
- The talented musician, born in Arkansas, worked with jazz legend John Coltrane in the 1960s. Sanders won a Grammy in 1988 for his work on “Blues for Coltrane – A Tribute to John Coltrane.” The award was “best jazz instrumental performance by a group.”
